To activate Active Park Assist, push the button on your control panel indicated by a “P”. Once the system is on, follow these simple steps for easy parking:
- Using the arrows on your steering wheel, choose whether you will be parallel or perpendicular parking
- Turn on your blinker to indicate which direction you will be parking
- Now, the system will take control of your steering wheel to guide you into the spot
To exit a parallel parking space, turn the system on and follow these steps:
- Use the left and right arrows on the steering wheel to choose park exit
- Turn your turn signal for the direction to leave the spot
- Follow the directions in your instrument cluster display to safely exit the spot
