Recommended Jeep Service Schedule

8,000 Miles or 1 Year
- Change oil and filter.
- Rotate the tires. Rotate at the first sign of irregular wear, even if it occurs before the oil indicator system turns on.
- Inspect battery and clean and tighten terminals as required.
- Inspect automatic transmission fluid if equipped with dipstick.
- Inspect brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums, hoses and park brake.
- Inspect engine cooling system protection and hoses.
- Inspect exhaust system.
- Inspect engine air cleaner if using in dusty or off-road conditions.
- Lube the front drive shaft fitting (2500/3500 (4×4) models only).
20,000 Miles or 2 Years
- Inspect front suspension, tie rod ends, and replace if necessary
- Inspect the brake linings, replace as necessary
- Adjust the parking brake as necessary
30,000 Miles or 3 Years
- Inspect the CV/Universal joints
- Inspect transfer case fluid
- Replace engine air filter
40,000 Miles or 4 Years
- Inspect front suspension, tie rod ends, and replace if necessary
- Inspect the brake linings, replace as necessary
- Adjust parking brake as necessary
60,000 Miles or 6 Years
- Inspect the CV/Universal joints
- Inspect front suspension, tie rod ends, and replace if necessary
- Inspect the brake linings, replace as necessary
- Adjust parking brake as necessary
- Replace engine air filter
80,000 Miles or 8 Years
- Inspect front suspension, tie rod ends, and replace if necessary
- Inspect the brake linings, replace as necessary
- Adjust parking brake as necessary
90,000 Miles or 9 Years
- Inspect the CV/Universal joints
- Inspect transfer case fluid
- Replace engine air filter
100,000 Miles or 10 Years
- Inspect front suspension, tie rod ends, and replace if necessary
- Inspect the brake linings, replace as necessary
- Adjust parking brake as necessary
- Replace spark plugs
- Inspect and replace the PCV valve if necessary.
120,000 Miles or 12 Years
- Inspect the CV/Universal joints
- Inspect front suspension, tie rod ends, and replace if necessary
- Inspect the brake linings, replace as necessary
- Adjust parking brake as necessary
- Replace engine air filter
- Change automatic transmission fluid and filter(s) (six-speed automatic only).
- Change the transfer case fluid.
140,000 Miles or 14 Years
- Inspect front suspension, tie rod ends, and replace if necessary
- Inspect the brake linings, replace as necessary
- Adjust parking brake as necessary
150,000 Miles or 15 Years
- Inspect the CV/Universal joints
- Inspect transfer case fluid
- Replace engine air filter
*Flush and replace the engine coolant at 10 years or 150,000 miles
